Note: Visitors are requested to arrive from 3 pm and to vacate by 10 am on the morning of departure to allow sufficient time for the house to be prepared for the next visitors.
Waterfront House is a delightful property. It has a 5 star 'Visit Britain' rating and sleeps 6 in one double 'four poster' bedroom with ensuite shower and two twin rooms with house bathroom. Colour T.V.'s are provided in all the bedrooms. Bed linen (duvets), towels, gas central heating and electricity are included in the rent.

The breathtaking Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale, Wharfedale, Wensleydale and Swaledale are all within easy reach. So, too are the North York Moors and all the various villages around.

Equally close at hand is the City of York, the interesting town of Thirsk, home to the James Herriot Museum, and the elegant Spa town of Harrogate with excellent shopping facilities and the famous Betty's Tea Rooms and Harlow Carr Gardens.

The historic and beautiful village of Ripley with its Castle, deer park and gardens is just a 10 minute drive, as is the ancient, World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal with its water gardens and deer park. Equally close is Newby Hall which is well worth visiting. Brimham Rocks is another nearby attraction and the village of Masham with its weekly market and famous Black Sheep Brewery.

The area is a walkers' paradise and there are also plenty of sports facilities nearby, swimming, golf, etc.

For the young and the young at heart a trip to Light Water Valley with all its rides and attractions will provide a fun day out.

There are an abundance of excellent pubs and restaurants throughout the whole area.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fitted in the Shaker style and is totally equipped with integrated appliances, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker (there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room). Continental cafe style crockery and plenty of glassware and high quality cutlery are provided and an abundance of various utensils and cookware.
Living Room
The spacious open-plan lounge with wooden flooring has a feature fireplace with a gas living-flame fire and a luxurious corner leather suite and south-facing furnished balcony with table and chairs for 6. The dining area has a farmhouse style table and chairs. There is a colour TV, DVD/Video, stereo.
Other Rooms
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with utility room with washer and dryer, sink and room for coats and boots. First floor has a cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin in addition to the sitting/dining room with balcony and kitchen. Second floor 3 bedrooms, en-suite and bathroom. There is private covered parking for two cars, plenty of visitor parking, and also a store for cycles.
