Located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the right hand side as you enter Barton village from the South. Our lovely holiday home is a modern brick semi detached house (1962 built|) with an open plan flowered and block paved front garden. The enclosed rear garden which opens onto the village green has good garden furniture and a nice lawn with plant filed borders.

The house has a garage, modern fitted kitchen. Large lounge/dining room with three piece suite, dining table and chairs, TV, video, piano and sideboard.

A staircase leads from the lounge to a twin back bedroom overlooking the village green, a double front bedroom with stag furniture and a nice outlook. The modern tiled bathroom with toilet and power shower is on the landing to the right at the top of the stairs.

You will find Barton Village to be a nice mixture of old and new properties.
It is still essentially rural with farms and open countryside all round.

There is a good atmosphere of friendly helpfulness within the community and a lot of local activities to sample see notices in village shops.

It has very good bus links to the nearby towns of Richmond and Darlington. The main line railway station at Darlington gives access to London and Edinburgh. The airport Durham Tees Valley is quite close by too.Tourists will be agreeably surprised at the ease of access from this holiday home to most parts of Northern England. Visitors to family and friends in County Durham, Teeside, Darlington & Richmond welcome.

Kitchen
A modern fitted kitchen with electric cooker, four hobs fan oven, microwave, fridge, dish washer washing machine. The ample modern white cupboards and drawers house utensils and crockery. There is a stainless steel sink and slate worktops. It has a laminate floor.

An alcove has a breakfast table and 4 chairs. The understairs cupboard houses ironing table, cleaning materials and sundries.

The oil fired central heating boiler is in the kitchen as too is the immersion heater switch.
Living Room
Having a good outlook down the Cedar Grove Cul de Sac you will find that the lounge is large. Airy, roomy and a very comfortable place to relax in.

The modern three seater settee and two arm chairs are very comfortable.

It has a TV with video, a radio CD player, piano with music plus two coffee tables.

At the rear of the room is a dining table with four chairs, a sideboard containing cutlery, table cloths and information to browse through. The floor is nicely carpeted in green.
