Situated in the heart of rural Suffolk, on a former strawberry field, is our small development of authentic, luxury log cabins set around our small fishing lake.
Individually furnished to a high specification to ensure you a real home-from home! Each master bedroom features a four poster double bed. The lodge has its own private outdoor hot tub - perfect relaxing in under the stars!
The large open-plan living area of each lodge includes a coal effect feature fireplace.
Undefloor heating and double glazing ensure cosy nights in. The lounge area also leads out onto the large decked veranda with patio furniture and barbecue for dining al fresco during the warmer months.
Guests have use of our private, covered heated swimming pool. Its sheltered patio area provides the perfect place for sun-bathing.
For those fancying a spot of fishing, our peaceful lake is amply stocked with tench and carp.
Saxtead is renowned for its Post Mill which is with in walking distance of our lodge. Also within easy walking distance of Windmill Lodges is "The Old Mill House" pub perfect for a quick drink or dining out.
Windmill Lodges is the perfect base to explore the beautiful Suffolk Countryside, including the heritage coast to include the beautiful coastal towns of Soutwold and Aldeburgh. Suffolk offers something for everyone whatever your age or interests.
