Woodsman's Cottage is one of five buildings which have been restored to a very high standard and retain many of their original features including beamed ceilings and estate character. Guests can enjoy peaceful strolls by the lake.

Maer Hall itself is privately owned and guests are respectfully requested not to encroach on the owners privacy.

Local country pursuits such as horse riding, fishing, bird watching and golf are available nearby.

Maer is an excellent base for exploring Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire with many other historic towns, country houses and gardens nearby.
