Located in Lower Broad Street, a prime, quiet, residential area Paul Pry is a property that date backs to medieval times and has the remains of a timber framed house dating back to the 17 century. It has been furnished to high standard.
This comfortable, self catering accommodation has been updated with modern bathrooms, kitchen whilst retaining its many period features. It sleeps 5 but is equally suitable for a couple or single occupancy.
The accommodation on the ground floor consists of hall, sitting room, dining room and kitchen.A door from the kitchen leads to the garden which enjoys sun for most of the day. On the first floor is a large bathroom and large double bedroom with an ensuite shower. On the second floor are two good sized bedrooms, one double and one single.
Paul Pry has its own private parking for up to 2 cars. This is a real bonus as parking in Ludlow is not easy with most parking time restricted.
Paul Pry is about 5 minutes from the town centre and there are river walks and country walks nearby on Whitcliffe. There is also free fishing. The accommodation is also the ideal location for exploring this delightful part of Shropshire and the Welsh border. Paul Pry's location is also perfect for those who want to sample the famous Ludlow restaurants such as Mr. Underhills which is a slow ten minute walk away.
Due to the age and layout of the property, it is unsuitable for the infirmed and wheel chair users.

Kitchen
The kitchen has been fully modernised with oak units and has ample work space. There is a dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. It is well equipped with all the crockery, cutlery , cooking untensils and glasses you will need.
Living Room
On one wall of this comfortable room are the remains of the side of an earlier timber framed house. (You can still see the marks the carpenters made so that the timber pieces could be assembled in the correct order.) We have also left exposed one of the wattle and daube panels. There are 2 sofas, flat screen television and lighting that can be dimmed. There is a fine Victorian cast iron fireplace to one end of the room and a bay window to the other.
Other Rooms
The separate dining room has the remains of a medieval wall and has a quarry tile floor. There is a large dining table with chairs and a cupboard off the room for coats etc. The room also contains another fine cast iron fireplace. The window looks down the garden.
