Coastal towns of Hunstanton (15 miles) and Sheringham and Cromer approx (35 miles) are easily accessible. Shopping in the larger cities of Norwich (45 miles) and Peterborough (35 miles) are not far away.
Golf courses can be found at Middleton (2 miles) Swaffham (16 miles) and Kings Lynn. Country pubs serving food are to be found in Fairgreen, Middleton and Gayton in the nearby villages.
There are RSPB reserves at Snettisham, Holme and Titchwell. Historic local places include Kings Lynn, Castle Rising, Castleacre Priory, Houghton, Oxborough and Holkham Hall.
