The farmhouse has been tastefully renovated and equipped for luxurious stays. It is suitable for large groups and very safe for families with children. It is a spacious and well-equipped family home, modernised and extended to offer delightful accommodation in this lively and attraction-rich region of Derbyshire.
The dining room has patio doors which fully open and allow the garden to become an extension of the house, which with the large patio, picnic tables and brick built barbeque make outdoor dining an absolute pleasure.
The house is surrounded by numerous villages, with pubs serving food, and even with this very rural setting you can be in the heart of Derby within a 10 minute drive, Ashbourne 15 minutes and enjoy the shopping and nightlife that is available.
Within a short drive you�ll find Crich Tramway Village Musuem, Carsington Water, Matlock Bath, Gullivers Kingdom, the scenic limestone dales of the southern Peak National Park: the country towns of Buxton, Bakewell and Ashbourne, country estates of Kedleston, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, and children will love the Midland Railway Centre (look out for Thomas!!) - the ever-popular Alton Towers, and The Museum of Childhood at Sudbury.
