Walking distance to Elterwater, Grasmere, Ambleside and Dungeon Ghyll. Chapel Stile has a friendly Co-op [which manages to sell almost everything - including local produce], an excellent value cafe, the famous Wainwright's pub & the prestigious Langdale Country Club where you can buy a day pass if you wish to swim & spa rather than walk one day.
Perfectly situated to visit Coniston, Hawkshead and the Wrynose & Hardknott passes to reach the sea.

On arrival: park around the back with a security light and unpack under cover.
Fully tiled bathroom has bath and electric shower over.
Boudoir double room has draped iron bedstead where you can sleep either end to enjoy the views.
Larger twin also has lovely views. Small extra bunk room.
Feature spiral staircase has open treads - not suitable for toddlers.
