The cottages are located at Ffos Ddu farm a 28 acre smallholding of woodland ( with bluebells in the spring), meadows, lake and rivers for you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The wildlife includes deer, otter, rabbits and a large number of different birds from swallows, swifts and house martins in the summer, Canada geese in the spring and the red kite can often be seen flying over head any time of year.
Ffos Ddu has two lovely cottages available for weekly or short break rental, Beudy Mawr is a very spacious one bedroom cottage sleeping two but with the option of sleeping up to four, Beudy Bach is a spacious studio that sleeps two, but has room for a single bed or cot so can sleep three. Both cottages have 4star ratings from Visit Wales Tourist Board and have the recommendation for walkers and cyclists.
Each cottages has its own patio with tables and chairs enjoying extensive westerly views over the surrounding countryside, there is a Boule pitch for your enjoyment.
The location of Ffos Ddu makes it an ideal base for walking, cycling (on and off road) at Brecfa and Crychan forests or there are some wonderful scenic drives.
