Rosehip Cottage is beautifully decorated and well furnished. It is situated in a quiet road in Hunter's Quay, just outside Dunoon and has sea views. The property has a large sitting room with a dining area at one end with french doors leading to the garden which guests are welcome to use. There is a large hall with light oak floor, three double bedrooms (one double bedded and two twins) and a well equipped bathroom with bath. The kitchen is bright and cheerful and also well equipped and has lovely sea views.
Rosehip Cottage can be reached from Glasgow Airport in approximately 45 minutes by car and guests usually arrive via the ferry which departs from Gourock and crosses the Firth of Clyde, a lovely atmospheric start to a holiday. There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing, fishing and quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering. The area is rich in Scottish History, the scenery beautiful and trips can be taken to the Younger Botanical Gardens with their amazing trees, Wemyss Bay, Bute.
